Jill Davis Simon attended the University of Florida, where she majored in Finance and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in May, 2004. She then attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and graduated in the top 15% of her class. While in law school, Jill was a member of two journals, the Journal of Law and Public Policy and the Journal of Technology Law and Policy. Upon graduation from law school, Jill joined a large law firm in Orlando, where she practiced commercial litigation, probate and trust litigation, and employment law for over seven years, first as an Associate, and then as a Senior Associate. During her time at the firm, she also worked on numerous family law cases involving complex financial and children’s issues.
With the Orlando Family Firm, Jill now focuses primarily on family law cases, and she handles all aspects of cases involving dissolution of marriage, paternity, modification, and parenting and children’s issues.
Jill was selected as a Florida Rising Star in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015, a distinction awarded to no more than 2.5% of the lawyers under the age of 40 in Florida. She is currently the Secretary of the Young Lawyers Section of the Orange County Bar Association, and has been a Board Member for the past several years. She has volunteered with the Women’s Residential Counseling Center and the Coalition for the Homeless, and was a Board Member and Governance Chair for the non-profit The Mustard Seed for four years. She also does pro bono work as a Guardian Ad Litem representing children suspected to be victims of parental abuse, neglect or abandonment.
